"One district — one project" in Kopyl forestry

Forestry of the Minsk region develops deep processing of the raw materials. The accent is put on high quality production and export deliveries. In Kopyl experimental forestry, production of edge-surfaced timber was opened and a line for producing pallets was launched within "One district — one project" initiative. Due to implementation of these projects, about thirty new jobs with decent wages were created in the district. This way, the forestry tackles the problem of involving coniferous and foliar timber into turnover, which are not in demand in the market. The annual lumber sawing capacity is 18 thousand cubic meters. The pallet production line produces 30 thousand units per month. The first portfolio of orders has already been formed.
