New projects in wood processing

About 20 million m3 of wood will be stored up by the forestry enterprises of our country by the end of the year. One of the industry's emphasis is on recycling this valuable resource. Among the forestry enterprises of the Minsk region there are pioneers: in Krupki, the production of pallets has proven its efficiency. The products are in demand among various industrialists in the domestic market. By the end of this year, the Krupky forestry enterprise will produce more than 350 thousand pallets. The benefit of such production is that low-grade tree species are used here. Birches, aspens, and alders are used. Workshops similar to the Krupky are planned to be organized for the production of pallets in other forestry enterprises of the Minsk and Brest regions.
