New dairy product being launched in Belarus

A Mogilev-based dairy plant has launched the production of goat milk. The first batches have already been sent to stores. The experiment to set up the first state goat farm in the country was a success. In a couple of years the herd has quadrupled, and now 600 goats of Zaanen and Alpine breeds are raised here. They are among the three most productive breeds in the world. The producers are confident that goat milk will become popular among customers. It is practically allergen-free. And so is the cheese, which is planned to be produced at dairy enterprises in the region.
