New cooperation horizons between Belarus and Zimbabwe
On the eve of the state visit of the President of Belarus to Zimbabwe, a Belarusian-Zimbabwean business forum began its work in Harare. This is an opportunity for officials and representatives of business circles to communicate and discuss areas of cooperation. The Belarusian side is interested in cooperation in the areas of healthcare, food, light industry, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, fuel and energy, mining, chemical, and woodworking industries. As a result of the forum, documents on cooperation and strategic partnership were signed by the largest Belarusian enterprises, e.g. Gomselmash, Minsk Motor Plant, Bobruiskagromash, MTZ. In particular, in the next two years, the Minsk Tractor Plant will supply over 3,500 tractors to Zimbabwe. Last year, for the first time in the last 50 years, the country fully provided itself with grain, including thanks to BELARUS machinery.
