New areas for cooperation between Minsk and Uzbekistan

The Central Asian market is interested in the goods and services offered by the Belarusian capital. This was voiced at a meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Nadezhda Lazarevich and Chargé d'Affaires Ad Interim of Uzbekistan to Belarus Rakhmatthula Nazarov. The partners are interested in cooperation in tourism and healthcare. They also discussed the possibility of establishing a trading platform in Uzbekistan, where Belarusian producers would sell meat and dairy products and handicrafts. In addition, a trading house of Uzbek goods may be opened in the Belarusian capital. Minsk is interested in Uzbekistan's pharmaceutical industry and supplies of textile raw materials.
