MART about the effectiveness of adjustments in the price regulation system

Annual inflation in Belarus in June amounted to 2.9%. MART states that the adjustments made a month ago to price regulation did not negatively affect inflation. Moreover, the current value of the indicator is the lowest in the history of observations. At the same time, representatives of retail draw the attention of the department to their economy. Proposals from the subjects to improve the mechanisms and the effectiveness of the measures taken were discussed at a meeting of the expert working group. The MART Expert Council acts as a platform for interaction between government agencies and business. Its goal is to promptly discuss ideas and develop mechanisms for price regulation, taking into account the positions of all interested parties.
