Jointly produced machine tools at metalworking exhibition in Moscow
Belarus-Russia jointly produced machine tools as a response to the sanctions pressure. The Belarusian exposition is presented at the international exhibition "Metalworking 2024" in Moscow. This year's key exhibits are jointly produced machine tools, which are made entirely of Belarusian and Russian components. The governments of the two countries signed an agreement on cooperation in the machine tool industry last year. The main goal is to completely phase out Western and European products and jointly develop new tools, thus protecting the technological sovereignty of Belarus and Russia. And today the exhibition presents 5 jointly made machines, which can perform programs of different complexity and in different spheres of application. This year about one and a half thousand companies from 8 countries are taking part in the "Metalworking" exhibition. The thematic sections of the exposition cover all aspects of machine tool building and metalworking.
