Import substitution in effect

Zhlobin district has the only plant in Belarus producing fireproof products widely used in metallurgy, glass making, machine building. The products are unique and very much in demand. Among its clients are BMZ, BelAZ, Grodnosteklo, Gomel Casting and Normal Plant. The quality of Belarusian materials based on natural mineral raw materials is appreciated by consumers from Russia and Kazakhstan. Maximum possible capacity of the production facilities is 50 tons per month. Demand exceeds supply. That is why there are plans to expand the compact and absolutely safe production of at the full-fledged plant. The innovative line for the production of fireproof materials created 10 new jobs in the village of Streshin.
