Harvesting of winter rape is on in Belarus

Ever more agricultural enterprises of the Minsk region join harvesting of the winter rape. The total area makes 90 thousand hectares. About 15% of them have already been thrashed. 30 thousand tons of grain have been sent for preservation and processing. Rape plantation of the Kotovsky experimental base encompasses 240 hectares. Three combined machines harvest the oil plant at the Uzda district farm. The winter plants show good efficiency – 35 hundredweights per hectare. The rich yield is a result of strict observation of technology – terms of seeding, processing and fertilization.
