Harvesting and processing of sugar beet continues in the Minsk region
Agricultural organizations of the Minsk region are accelerating the pace of fall fieldwork. Particular attention is paid to sugar beets. Its harvesting is proceeding at an active pace in the Nesvizh region. A special combine harvester for harvesting sugar beets is now working around the clock in the fields of the "Snov" agricultural complex. The farm harvested an average of 800 centners per hectare – one of the best results in the region. The sweet harvest from the "Snov" fields is brought to the Gorodeya sugar factory. Starting from this season, the enterprise will get raw materials from four regions. In addition to sugar, the plant also produces fruit and berries. This season, the enterprise will process a little more than a million tons of sugar beet and plans to make 150,000 tons of sugar.
