Harvest 2024: Belarusian farmers have harvested more than 4.2 million tons of grain, including rapeseed

Harvest 2024. Farmers have already harvested almost 4 million 280 thousand tons of grain, including rapeseed. Of these, 3 million 280 thousand tons are grain and leguminous crops, as well as 999 thousand tons of winter rapeseed. The Gomel and Brest regions have already completed harvesting the latter. The leaders of the harvest are the Minsk and Brest regions. Grodno is rapidly approaching the one million mark: grain and leguminous crops have already been harvested on 47% of the area. Only 5% of the fields remain to be developed with winter rapeseed. The harvesting of wheat, triticale, oats, and spring barley continues. Flax harvesting and grass forage harvesting are underway. Farmers are also tasked with speeding up harvesting and applying organic fertilizers.
