Growth of household incomes, lower inflation: Ministry of Economy voices performance figures from year's first two months

In general, positive trends continue to prevail in the Belarusian economy. The drivers of GDP growth were industry, trade and agriculture. The transportation industry is actively recovering. If last year it performed in the red, now there is an increase of more than 4%. Moreover, both cargo and passenger turnover are on the upswing. As for the average salary, in January it amounted to almost 2 thousand rubles. Labor pensions grew 9% in real terms over two months. GDP has increased by 4% since the beginning of the year compared to 2023. The rates are higher than both last year's and forecast parameters.
