Grodno Region first to complete sowing of early grain and leguminous crops
19.04.2024
This year, almost 84 thousand hectares were allocated for crops in the region. Warm weather in March contributed to the start of work at least a week or two earlier. As a result, the region’s farms not only completed the sowing of early grains and legumimous crops earlier than usual, but also shifted the agronomic timing of planting a new crop of corn, sugar beets, vegetables and flax. Belarusian farmers are faced with the task of completing sowing of all spring crops by May 20.
