Gomel region to increase broiler chicken breeding capacity

Gomel region expands production capacity for broiler chickens. A fattening facility for 780.000 birds was opened in Buda-Koshelyovo district on the basis of the Belorusneft-Osobino enterprise. This is a landmark event for the agro-industrial complex of the southern region. The opening of the poultry house completed part of the investment project, thanks to which the production of broiler chicken meat at the enterprise will increase by 10.000 tonnes per year. Next year the company plans to build another 10.000 tonnes of broiler meat production site in Gomel region.
