Gomel has mastered the production of import-substituting products

A cantilever milling machine under a joint Belarusian-Russian project is being assembled in Gomel. All units of the new machine, developed by the designers of StankoGomel, are exclusively of allied production. The first machines can already be seen at Naftan in Novopolotsk and Minsk Tractor Works, as well as at a number of Russian enterprises. Last July, the governments of Belarus and Russia signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of the machine tool industry. Its main goal is to develop cooperation in the production and use of products and components.
