Frosts holding back sowing of spring crops
14.03.2024
Farms in Minsk region continue spring field work. Spring sowing, which is more than 100 thousand hectares, is held back by frosty nights and lack of sunshine. However, the farmers are still actively working. For example, at the "Zdravushka-agro" farm of Berezinski district, a specialized vehicle is used to apply nitrogen fertilizers to the field with perennial grasses. The ratio of 1 ton of liquid per 10 hectares will allow farmers to get the first harvest of such crops as clover and festulolium as early as the end of May. The farm is aiming for a good grain harvest this season.
