From 9 August the rules for selling Belarusian dairy products abroad will be changed
Selling of Belarusian dairy products abroad through the Universal Commodity Exchange will take place in a different way. Such a mechanism as exchange-targeted transactions will be introduced. Now the scheme is actively and successfully used by woodworking enterprises, while dairy producers will be able to conclude export deals directly with foreign buyers from the 9th of August. The introduction of targeted transactions were supported by the government. It is expected that the innovation will increase transparency and efficiency of export trade, ensure price transparency and minimize risks on foreign markets. In general, exchange trade is gaining momentum in terms of turnover, as well as changing the vector of suppliers and buyers. More often Belarusian products are being exported to Russia, China, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The top of best-selling Belarusian goods are: dairy products and sawn timber.
