Forage harvesting started in Minsk region
18.05.2023
The area of the first hay harvest is almost 300 thousand hectares. About a thousand mowers are used in the fields of the central region, and later more than 700 forage harvesters. In the Kletsk district, sunny weather contributes to the mowing of rapeseed – one of the richest crops in protein. For the Tucha agricultural complex, fresh feed is a guarantee of high results in dairy farming. And in the neighboring farm "Kuhchitsy" coleseed and rapeseed are mixed in the same field with winter barley as an experiment. In total, during the season, farmers, especially in the southern areas of the Minsk region, plan to get 4-5 hay cuts.
