First thousand-ton record breakers were honored in Mogilev region

The harvest in Belarus is gaining pace. Harvesting of winter barley is the campaign’s important stage. Around the country, about 70% of the areas have already been cleared. This is 184 thousand hectares, and almost 640 thousand tons have been gathered with a yield of 34.7 centners per hectare. In a number of farms in the Mogilev region, the harvesting of winter barley has already been completed. The day before, the first thousand-ton record breakers were honored in the fields of the Servolux Agro enterprise. Combine operators Grigory Bokach and Sergey Mai became the leaders for the next year in a row. The farm has over a thousand hectares allocated for the barley. Farmers note, that the yield is almost 20% higher than last year. By the way, the Mogilev region has to harvest 47 thousand hectares of winter barley. Over 56% of the fields have already been processed.
