First meeting of joint standing commission on cooperation between Belarus and Zimbabwe to be held in Harare
Belarus Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has arrived in the African country to attend the meeting. The range of issues is vast, from trade, economic and investment cooperation to industrial cooperation, Belarus' participation in the mechanization of agriculture in Zimbabwe. The agenda of the talks includes a number of specific economic projects aimed at bringing the bilateral interaction to a qualitatively new level and increasing trade turnover between the countries. These days, Harare is also hosting a Belarusian-Zimbabwean business forum. The Belarusian Foreign Minister took part in the presentation of the industrial and food potential of Belarus. An exhibition of Belarusian achievements in agro industry was attended by politicians from Zimbabwe and Botswana, as well as representatives of business circles of a number of other African countries.
