Farmers harvesting winter barley

The first grain for the country's food security is coming to the granaries. Belarus is harvesting winter barley. The crop ripens before others, so it is time to start harvesting. At a farm in Nesvizh district 6 harvesters are threshing crops now. More than 50 quintals per hectare are being harvested. In all regions of Belarus farms are increasing acreage under winter barley. Already this season the volume went up more than 2.5 times. Farmers will be harvesting more than 160 thousand hectares.
