Farmers harvest corn
To prepare high-quality feed for large milk production and efficient agro-economy. Harvesting corn for silage continues on farms in the Minsk region. Plantations with this crop cover over 200 thousand hectares. In the Logoisk agricultural complex, for example, a third of the crops were removed. The green mass is good: it is a source of energy for livestock farming. In total, they plan to lay about 40 thousand tons of silage, of which 15 thousand have already been prepared. Every day the complex receives up to 1 thousand tons of silage. The trench needs to be laid within the optimal technological time frame – 2-3 days. In total, the farm has more than 1,800 hectares of corn for silage. Green crops must be harvested before frost sets in.
