Experimental agricultural enterprises of Belarus started sunflower harvesting

Production of our own seed oil is not a distant prospect, Belarusian agrarians are positive. The country’s farms began actively cultivating the southern plant. In total, over 5 thousand hectares are allocated for the sunflower. This year’s yield made 40 hundredweights per hectare, which is on par with world producers. Scientists helped select special breeds and developed the cultivating technology.
