President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed the law on ratification of the intergovernmental agreement with Russia on the procedure for recognizing electronic signatures. This international treaty provides for mutual recognition by the parties of electronic digital signatures in electronic documents created in Belarus and Russia. However, it does not apply to cases when both participants of cross-border electronic interaction are state bodies and subjects of banking and payment legal relations.
