Economic growth rates have accelerated in Belarus
19.09.2023
Over the 8 months of the year, Belarus' GDP amounted to 103.1%, and this exceeds the forecast. The growth continues systematically; August added another 0.2%. In the green zone are the main activities, with the exception of agriculture. This is natural and can be explained by the fact that the “factor” of the faster pace of harvesting ceased to influence the situation. The main drivers of GDP acceleration remained traditional. Consumer activity is growing. This is facilitated, among other things, by record low inflation. And in August, deflation was generally recorded, prices decreased by 0.3%, mainly it was food.
