EAEU to create mechanisms to respond to sanctions
25.08.2023
The EAEU needs to create effective mechanisms to respond to sanctions. This was stated by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko at the extraordinary Intergovernmental Council of the Union. Such an instruction was given by the presidents of Belarus and Russia in 2021 after the Supreme Council of the Five. Such measures may become part of the EAEU development declaration until 2030 and 2045. The document was presented to the partners by Russia. The main goal is to create a self-sufficient and highly developed region. Before the document is submitted for signature by the heads of state, each country can voice its proposals.
