During the first six months of the year, foreign investors contributed $4.1 bln to the Belarusian economy

The main investors were business entities of Russia (nearly 70% of all investments received), Cyprus (just under 10%) and the United Arab Emirates (7.5%). At the same time, the inflow of foreign direct investment accounted for $3 bln. Belarus, in turn, invested $2.4 bln abroad in the first six months of the year. Significant amounts were directed to Russia's business entities (almost 90% of all investments).
