Dump truck powered by electric motor being developed in Mogilev

A new investment project is being launched in the workshops of the Mogilev Automobile Plant named after Kirov, a branch of BelAZ. the plant is developing its own electric carrying and lifting machine. It uses a replaceable battery box as the power unit. Such a machine can work up to 4 hours without recharging. This development is unique not only for Mogilev, but also for the entire country. Now the main components of the complex are purchased in Russia. Therefore, the new project is a good prospect to make the dump truck entirely Belarusian-made. The Mogilev prototype is planned to be manufactured by the end of 2024.
