Development of electricity and gasification discussed in the House of Representatives
In Belarus, the level of gasification has reached almost 84%. All big and small towns and 3.700 settlements are supplied with natural gas. Today the development of the electric power industry was discussed in the House of Representatives. Deputies and heads of energy services gathered for a seminar-meeting. The event is held in a new format to comprehensively and promptly work out the requests received fr om the society. As emphasised by Speaker Igor Sergeenko, the growth in the quality of services provided to the population poses new challenges for the energy sector. This is especially in demand in rural areas, wh ere people want to see an equal level of comfort with cities. The seminar was organised as part of the activities of the five-year quality plan, the Year of Improvement and the formation of state programmes for the next 5 years.
