Delegation of Belarus government on a visit to Astrakhan
Joint work with enterprises in Astrakhan, as well as transshipment of Belarusian cargo through the ports of the Russian region will be discussed today during a working visit of a delegation of the Belarusian government led by the Prime Minister. The sides will talk about sending goods across the Volga along the Caspian Sea, because Astrakhan is located on the large North-South transport corridor. The program includes negotiations with the governor and visits to enterprises that cooperate with Belarusian manufacturers. Among them is a large company that produces pipes for Rosneft. Some enterprises are located in the Lotus special economic zone. Belarusian SEZs have agreements on interaction with it. There is also a MTZ trade and service center in Astrakhan. It opened in March last year.
