Delegation from Russia’s Ulyanovsk region visits Brest

A delegation from the Ulyanovsk region of Russia arrived in Brest region as part of its working visit to Belarus. The parties discussed cooperation in economic, cultural and social spheres. The regions have already cooperated before. A branch of one of the largest Belarusian children's toys producers operates in the Ulyanovsk region. The parties have signed several agreements, including the one on strategic cooperation and co-action within the framework of industrial interaction and import substitution between the 558^th Aircraft Repair Plant in Belarus and the Russia’s Industry Development Competencies Center. A memorandum of understanding and cooperation was also signed between the Department of Sports and Tourism of the Brest Regional Executive Committee and the Agency for Tourism in Ulyanovsk region. Representatives of the Russian region visited some enterprises of Brest region, studied their potential for further cooperation. In total, Ulyanovsk region plans to conclude 9 new agreements with Belarusian partners.
