Cooperation with Russian regions

Over the next three years Belarus and Russia’s Irkutsk region expect to significantly increase their commodity turnover, investments, and launch joint assembly operations. A statement to this effect was made at the meeting between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia and the chairman of the Irkutsk region government on the sidelines of the Krasnoyarsk economic forum. The plans have been signed. Today it is time to determine the spheres for cooperation. The trade turnover at the beginning of the year has already grown by 16% compared to 2022. Irkutsk buys our tires, machinery and machine tools. There is interest in units for reforestation and firefighting. Russians were invited to the Belagro exhibition to get acquainted with the new Belarusian agricultural machinery.
