Cargo transportation in the domestic market of Belarus almost doubled
06.03.2023
Export shipments increased one and a half times, while imports remained at the level of 2021. Such data is provided by the International Road Transportation Exchange. Experts have no doubt that the Belarusian market has adapted to the sanctions obstacles. Losses on the western routes were compensated in Russia and Kazakhstan. Also, the demand for the delivery of goods to Armenia, Uzbekistan and Georgia has increased several times. As for the category of cargo, transportation of household appliances, furniture, equipment and spare parts showed impressive growth on domestic routes. In exports, rolled metal, household chemicals, and sawn timber added.
