Belstat: $7.7 billion invested in Belarusian economy in 2023

Last year, investors injected almost $8 billion in the real sector of Belarus. Most of the capital came from Russia — almost 67%, and from Cyprus — about 15%. At the same time, foreign direct investment amounted to $6 billion, which is almost 75% of the total. Belarusian organizations also actively invested abroad. According to Belstat, $6 billion was allocated. Most of the funds, 90%, was invested by Belarusian companies in Russian business entities.
