Belarusians built a "space" school in Kaluga
From construction to joint projects in education and science. Belarus and Kaluga Region signed an agreement on cooperation for the next 3 years. Last year, mutual trade turnover with this Russian region amounted for $240 mln. By the end of 6 months of 2024 it increased by 20%. Belarusians have built almost 500.000 sq. m of housing in Kaluga. These are apartments, kindergartens, polyclinics and schools. At a meeting with the Belarusian delegation, the governor of Kaluga region called the cooperation with Belarus exemplary. The day before, a school with the space name "New Constellations" was opened in the Baikonur district of Kaluga. It was built by Belarusian specialists. The school is designed to accommodate 1125 children and more than 50 teachers. The main focus is the in-depth study of math, physics and computer science. There will also be classes on drone control.
