Belarusian timber industry concern increased export to China
01.03.2023
Summing up the last year’s results, the Belarusian timber and paper industry concern increased its export to China by 10%. The most popular positions are sawn lumber, cellulose, and veneer. The plans for 2023 envisage deliveries of the timber produce to the Celestial Empire to the total of $130 million. Russia also remains an important export avenue. Yet, it is hard to increase presence there due to high competition. Export of enterprises is also reoriented to the internal market. Now, a keen attention is paid to import-substituting projects.
