Belarusian Minsk Motor Plant MMZ and Kursk-based Elektroagregat (Russia) have signed a cooperation agreement.
MMZ will supply internal combustion engines of up to 30 kW to Kursk. Using these products, the local enterprise will produce power units for medical institutions, utility services and agriculture.
The Belarusian and Russian enterprises have been cooperating for a long time. "We are happy to note that the enterprises cooperate on a permanent basis and the role of our authorities is to build this contact. The enterprises will continue developing this [cooperation] using the measures of state support, which are many today, to solve the tasks set for import independence", Mikhail Aksenov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Kursk region, said.
