Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry records a significant demand for the sale of goods via the Internet

Belarusian manufacturers should increase their presence on marketplaces. This was discussed at the seminar "E-commerce — a tool to promote Belarusian goods". At the moment, there are more than 30.000 online stores in Belarus. There are also registered almost 20.000 business entities engaged in e-commerce. The share of this direction in the total volume of retail trade has reached 9%. The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry notes the high interest of business in sales through electronic platforms. The BelCCI seminar became a platform for discussion between business and government agencies. Issues related to pricing, logistics and VAT calculation were also considered.
