Belarusian agrarians crossed a new milestone in the harvesting campaign

The harvesting campaign is reaching the finish line. More than 6.5 mln tonnes of grain including rapeseed have been threshed today. Minsk region has the most of all: over 1.760 mln tonnes of new crop. Brest region is the fastest in the harvesting campaign: only 7% of the area is remained to be processed here. In Grodno region, almost 1.5 mln tonnes of grain and rapeseed have been threshed at a yield of 45.5 c/ha. Agrarians of Gomel region need to harvest only 13% of the area. Almost 700.000 tonnes of new crop have been harvested in Mogilev region, and nearly 0.5 mln tonnes – by the farmers of Vitebsk region. At the same time, agrarians are clearing the fields of straw and preparing the ground for sowing winter crops, as well as preparing green fodder and cutting flax.
