Belarus to pay off debts in friendly currencies

Belarus will repay borrowings exclusively in Belarusian and Russian rubles, as well as in Yuan. The Euro and the Dollar are not being used, Finance Minister Yuri Seliverstov said as he presented next year's budget in parliament. Traditionally, the document goes through the so-called "zero reading" (i.e. detailed discussion) before the deputies vote on it in the Oval Room. The Minister noted that some investors have already agreed to receive payments on Belarusian Eurobonds in rubles.
