The balance of food supplies to Russia is being fulfilled. This was stated at the joint board of agriculture ministries of the two states in Minsk. Belarus ranks first among the food importing countries in Russia. 80% of exports of these products go to the neighboring market. Special attention is paid to consumer safety. An information system for tracking goods and phytosanitary control has been set up. Specialists of the two countries have linked the relevant information resources together.
