Belarus plans to produce almost 9 million tonnes of milk by the end of the year

By the end of 2024, Belarus plans to produce almost 9 million tonnes of milk. Such high figures are becoming a reality due to the large-scale modernisation of dairy farms, which is taking place across the country. It is planned to build at least 60 dairy complexes annually in the next five years. A programme has been developed to ensure the maintenance of cattle in modern conditions until 2030. Thanks to the construction of ITC, introduction of the latest ideas and technologies, Brest region, for example, last year for the first time received about 2.2 million tonnes of milk. For two years in a row, Minsk Oblast has also exceeded the 2 million mark.
