Belarus Nuclear Power Plant cumulatively generates 21.8 billion kWh

Belarusian NPP has cumulatively generated almost 22 billion kilowatt-hours. This allowed replacing 5.8 billion cubic meters of gas. The figures were provided by the Minister of Energy. According to Viktor Karankevich, the volume of electricity consumption is growing against the background of the recent launch of the Plant's second unit. The increase since the beginning of the year is 6.6 percent. Consumption is growing both in the real sector of the economy (plus 8 and a half percent) and among the households. In particular, charging of electric vehicles has increased by 23 percent.
