Belarus - Murmansk region: new projects
For 4 months of 2023, the transshipment of Belarusian cargo through the ports of Murmansk is three times higher than in 2022. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko stated this at a meeting with the governor of the Murmansk region. Delegation of the Belarusian government is on a working visit to the region. Logistics is of great importance today, but it includes not only transit. The construction of Belarusian terminal in the region’s port is another important issue. Also, a BelAZ service center will be opened in Murmansk, which will increase the possibilities for repair and maintenance. Belarus is ready to participate in the renovation of the airport, offer elevator equipment, escalators, and travolators. More details about new areas of cooperation will be discussed tomorrow at a meeting of the working group.
