Belarus may completely refuse to import amino acids

One of the new plants of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation is increasing its capacity to produce amino acids for animals. Deep processing produces wheat gluten, lysine, threonine and sulphate. The volumes of production will completely cover the needs of agrarians. According to specialists of the main department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, while in 2022, more than 17.000 tonnes of amino acids were imported to Belarus for the production of mixed fodder, in 2025 it is planned to completely avoid the import of this product.
