Belarus is developing cooperation with the Komi Republic

A meeting of the cooperation working group took place in Grodno. Last year, a representative delegation from the Grodno region visited the Komi Republic, which made it possible to increase exports by 1.5 times. Thanks to this meeting, new opportunities are opening up. For example, modern models for house kits are being actively developed in the Komi Republic; they are already used in the production of houses for doctors and teachers of the republic in hard-to-reach settlements from their own durable materials. As it was emphasized at the meeting, an important direction for the republic is the import substitution of machinery and logging technologies with Belarusian products. During the meeting, issues of development of the agro-industrial complex were discussed. In addition, an agreement was reached on the exchange of students, student groups, the continuation of cultural exchange, and the patriotic movement.
