Belarus and Vietnam plan to expand cooperation in the agro-industrial complex
01.04.2025
A meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Hanoi. The parties discussed current and future priority projects. Minsk Automobile Plant has already been assembled in Vietnam. However, the partners are aiming for more: they are discussing the joint assembly of Belarusian tractors. A site has already been selected and several models for the local and neighbouring markets are under development. A trial batch is planned to be produced in the near future. Belarus is also increasing food supplies to Vietnam. Dairy products have been certified, and the necessary procedures for beef supplies are at the final stage. As a result, about 20 domestic enterprises will have access to the Vietnamese market.
