Belarus and Uzbekistan identify areas for new projects
Belarus and Uzbekistan have identified the principal areas for new projects. A delegation of the Belarusian government headed by the Prime Minister held a number of talks in Samarkand. Uzbekistan is one of the main trade partners for us in Central Asia and the CIS. This was stated by Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko at a joint business forum. In the past three years, the trade turnover between the countries has almost doubled, reaching more than half a billion dollars. The countries aim to make full use of production, scientific, technical and innovation potential and set ambitious goals to increase trade turnover to a billion US dollars. Today, the working visit to Uzbekistan is coming to an end. As a result of the agreements reached, about 25 new contracts will be signed in the near future.
