Belarus and Uzbekistan are looking for new cooperation projects

Over 30 years of diplomatic relations between the countries, many successful joint projects and programmes have been implemented. Mutual trade turnover has tripled in the last five years alone. Now it amounts to almost $600 mln. The goal is one billion. Belarus is among Uzbekistan's twenty main trade partners and supplies light industry products (clothes, fabrics, yarn). Belarusian meat and dairy products, machinery and electronics are also in demand. Belarus, in turn, buys light industry products from Uzbekistan, particularly cotton yarn and knitted fabrics. Investment cooperation is actively developing.
