Belarus and the Leningrad region of Russia are developing joint projects
The trade turnover of Belarus with the Leningrad region will exceed $1 billion at the end of the year. This was announced by the vice-governor of the region Oleg Malashchenko. Much attention is paid to the supply of equipment. Since the beginning of the year, 139 tractors have already been shipped. Belarusian grain complexes, combines and attachments are in demand in the region. There is a high interest in food supplies. The agro-industrial complex is one of the growth points in bilateral trade. Together we are engaged in import substitution and reducing dependence on foreign suppliers. There are also many joint construction projects in the works. Thus, Belarusians will build a school for 825 places in the Lomonosov district and the Amkodor plant in Gatchina.
